Snow Tubing at Winterplace

High in the hills of Ghent, WV is Winterplace Ski Resort, a fun winter destination that’s only an hour and a half from Charleston. The boys and I don’t have the equipment for skiing or snowboarding, so we were looking for something fun that didn’t require any gear. That makes snow tubing the perfect activity!

Winterplace Ski Resort is the perfect place for beginners to learn to ski and more advanced skiers and riders to improve their technique or just spend some time having fun with family and friends. Their runs have 100% snowmaking, so even if mother nature can’t get it to snow, they can.
